The Loch Ard Gorge Port Campbell National Park Victoria Australia Wallpaper

The Loch Ard Gorge is part of Port Campbell National Park, Victoria, Australia, located about few minutes drive  away from The Twelve Apostles. It is a visible example of the process of erosion in action. It is well worth stopping off here to enjoy the natural beauty and the historical heritage of this impressive gorge.

The Loch Ard Gorge is the site where in 1878, the ship Loch Ard ran aground, killing all but two passengers and crew members. Although developed as a tourist spot, the gorge has largely been left as is as form of deference to those who lost their lives there. The Loch Ard Gorge offers a great place to pay homage, relax, enjoy a swim, or a nice picnic.

Landscape Photos of Sunset

In photography, the golden hour or magic hour, especially in cinematography is the first and last hour of sunlight during the day when a specific photographic effect is achieved due to the quality of the light. Typically, lighting is softer (more diffuse) and warmer in hue. Shadows are relatively non-existent if the sun is below the horizon.

When the sun is near or below the horizon, sunlight travels through more of the atmosphere, reducing the intensity of the direct light, so that more of the illumination comes from indirect light from the sky (Thomas 1973, 9–13), reducing the lighting ratio. More blue light is scattered, so if the sun is present, its light appears more reddish. In addition, the sun's small angle with the horizon produces longer shadows. Some sunset photos wallpaper are below.
